No Dogs on the Bed
by Wild Dingo | June 10th, 2010
That’s the rule at Wild Dingo.
“That’s ridiculous. Clearly she can see there are two dogs on this bed.”
“Princess, did you know about this rule?”
“Huskies don’t do rules Big Boy. This duvet sure brings out the gold in my eyes.”
“Foiled again by my genetics! Pop, can we change that rule so I don’t break it?”
This shot is for Khyra. Have you ever seen paws crossed like this before?
All kidding aside: our policy stands. Both dogs know that bed privleges are invitation and special occasions only. That’s why it’s nice to have rules. So when you break them, it feels extra special.

So no dogs on the bed except when there are dogs on the bed? These sorts of rules confuse the Mango. PeeWee has a special no sitting on momma’s chair unless you have momma’s lap between you and the chair. I don’t get it.
You two look so totally comfy there and I agree that the duvet flatters you both.

Yeah. Um. We have that same rule in our house. Except that it is no dogs on the bed except for on days that end in ‘y’…. And yes, the duvet totally brings out the color in your eyes!

Well now… that rule just stinks like cat crap. I’m glad it doesn’t happen here.
GRRRRRREAT paw crossing. Khyra will faint.

We have the same rule here, Juno and Loki. But somehow we haven’t figured out how to not break the rule and be allowed on the bed – any tips?

Aww! They sure look comfy up there! I have a feeling they have ways of subverting this policy of yours!

Pish posh. Rules are made to be broken, especially when it comes to huskies on beds. Just ask my dad. Every night I lay down on his pillows. Every night he makes me move to the foot of the bed. However, someday I will win and there will be no going back!

Same rule at my house; however the rule doesn’t mention dog IN bed so I go undercover every night, so to speak. That’s the terrier part in the Boston, we like to burrow, preferably under a nice, fluffy duvet that brings out my black and white coat.
Maman says that I must have attended something she calls Jesuits’School. Whatever.

We have the same rule! Though on vacations Darwin’s allowed on the bed. She’ll usually head straight for the bed when we’re not at home. At home though she won’t even jump up even when I ask her to. heheh
I love their crossed paws!

On, that is just too funny! You should set up a camera when you’re not home and see if they are on the bed!

We have the same rule but it is always broken by the princess of the house.
besides, we’re too busy admiring your Pop’s delicious red socks. could we have those when you’re done. we bring them too our Mama and Daddy in exchange for cheese. Mama thanks us for bring the laundry downstairs for her.

I have the same rule too and the one time I broke it (when I was a pup), I got into MAJOR trouble!!! My humans are mean and cold-hearted and never make exceptions…(although Hsin-Yi says that if your human had a giant slobbery dog that left slimey drool everywhere and had paws the size of dinner plates that could give you black eyes with just a playful pat, then she might feel differently about breaking the rules for the bed!

We should have taught our dogs that rule. Starr allows us on HER bed sometimes.

Oh
My
My
!!
Pawesome work!
BTW, Juno would not tekhhnikhally be a DOG on the bed – Sibes are NOT dogs -
Therefore, the rule of ‘No DOGS On The Bed’ would not be broken fur Loki is singular –
Now, if the rule was ‘No DOG On The Bed’ he might be in deep doo-doo -

Khyra beat us to it with the explanation. We Siberians are not dogs. Sibes are special. Hasn’t Juno told you that?

We love to sleep on our peeps bed, but don’t do it near enough!
June 12th, 2010 at 9:13 am
Wooos! No dogs on bed rule is at our house too, unless Mom invites us up, , which is confusing, but as I believe I am not a dog either, (like Khyra says) I can do as I please. Yes, your eyes are stunning against that duvet!
Happy Weekend!

I’ve never been able to resist – but I like the idea of making them think it’s a privilege. And of course, it’s far too late for me.
