“Hey Daddy-O, this beef trachea is the bomb. How come you’re not eating yours?”

“I’m watching my figure. Speaking of figures, Princess, don’t you think you ought to call Jenny?”
”Hmmm. Let me think about it. Pass me your beef trachea.”
I must be overfeeding lately. Loki’s turned down a trachea and a bully a few times in the last month. Well, at least one of them is not a bottomless pit.

Loki – the rules at Chez Herd are clear – don’t ever leave chewables laying around that you might want. You might be ok while the humans are supervising, but the second they don’t look – vanished!

I feel your pain, Loki. I can’t even play toss with my treats anymore!

Turning down that??? Moose says overfeeding is a myth! Is it just hard chewing things that he is turning down? Sometimes that can be a sign of teeth or jaw troubles. I am sure you know Loki well enough to know if is a problem but given our recent mouth troubles with Mandy and then our pal Phantom I thought I would mention it. If Moose walked away from that I would be on the phone to the vet but I know not all dogs are as *ahem* hungry as labs

Trachea? Mom has just gone all green-like in the face. She’s a doctor, but not that kind of doctor (she’s one of those Ph.D. things – which is good, since she seems to be squeamish around detached body parts). Um, hey, if you don’t want it, though, we’d be perfectly happy to come visit and give it a try…. Just trying to help, ya know!

Clearly, Loki is wasting away missing his poppy.

Just more cracker dog behavior as far as I am concerned. Trachea has nothing to do with being hungry. Sheesh. Nommy!
