Puppy Fix

Aslan's mom, Marita, and her daughter Elenor, invited me to attend Aslan's puppy class. OMG, like I'm gonna pass up the opportunity for all that puppy breath and puppy shenanigans?

The pups did some recalls with their bi-peds hiding behind a tunnel.  Aslan is not a ding dong and found his mom pretty fast.

All pups went around the tunnel. This little one must have been watching the Summer Olympics closely because she landed a perfect vault over the tunnel and to her mom. Judges score? TEN!

This pup's focus was outrageous for his age. He never took his eyes off his mom, always ready to work. I don't think I've ever seen a puppy at this age so focused. I've always preferred fluffy dogs with medium to long hair. Having Loki has made me appreciate lean, short haired dogs as well. I could have easily pup-napped this adorable fella.

Aslan has good focus too, but like Loki, if you ignore him (and turn your attention to the teacher speaking for example), he'll find something to occupy his busy mind. It was fun to watch him busy himself with the toys and equipment.  He reminds me so much of Loki, minus the anxiety. He's smart, eager to work and so full of himself. A confident little bugger that you can't help but adore.

The best part of attending puppy class and profitting from all that puppy goodness? I get to go home to a quiet calm house!
